February 2010

Here in Ohio winter definitely came.  We had a lot of snow in a short amount of time.  Every time we shoveled Mother Nature decided to give us just as much and sometimes a little more.  It got to the point we did not know where to shovel the snow anymore.  By the end of the month it was recorded as the most snow we have ever had in February.   Soda enjoyed the snow, especially when we played with her.  Tracy got some great photos of her catching snow balls.  The city has been really good about keeping the roads cleared which helped with getting out and about.

This has been a very busy month for us overall.  We all are well and have had a good month.  Tracy had a few gaming nights and I had one scrapping night this month.  Plus we took in an OSU hockey game compliments of work.  We went to a friends little girl 1st birthday party, did some Wii bowling with our bowling team, and our normal Friday night bowling league.

One thing different I did this month was help with the Candy Land Ball at church.  It is a Father/Daughter dinner and dance for all ages.  There is a DJ playing music for everyone to enjoy and a photographer .  So cute seeing all the fathers wearing tuxes or suites to match their daughters.  They even buy flowers for the girls to wear. Such a wonderful evening.

Then to finish up the month I had a Longaberger party to kick off my start as an home consultant.  I had a wonderful group of friends to support me which made a great day.  On to the next month.

God Bless,

Rebecca, Tracy, and Soda

The new year

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Tracy and I rang in the New Year with some friends.  It was a great time and a wonderful way to start the year.  January brought several days of snow with it in the beginning.  We had seven inches of snow once it was all finished.  My sister and niece from NC came to visit with our parents and us one weekend.  Ye Rin, Dad, and I went ice skating, while Laura, Mom, and Tracy watched us. There was enough snow left that Ye Rin got to throw few snowballs at uncle Tracy. It was a nice weekend even though it was a short visit. I started my three year term in the church as Trustee this month. Tracy and I ended the month by going to a Blue Jacket hockey game, they won.  The New Year has been good for us and we hope yours is too.

God Bless,

Rebecca and Tracy
