July 2008 has come and gone.  This month we celebrated my mother’s birthday and family friend’s wedding.  Although we had several friends with birthdays this month, we only got together with my mother and her cousin since they both share the same birthday.  We meet at a Cracker Barrel to have a nice dinner and were able to chat a bit and catch up. 

The wedding we went to was back in my home town for a long time family friend.  The service was beautiful and all involved were just filled with such joy.  Of course that is how weddings should be, a time of joy. 

Tracy’s dad had to have another surgery on his eye this month to correct his retina detachment.  Although this was not expected, he still is doing ok.  Hopefully by his next appointment he will really start to feel much better and things looking up again for him.
