Christmas newsletter

Dear Family and Friends,

Another year has come and gone. We celebrated Christmas 2006 with both families as usual. It is a wonderful time of the year when we all can gather and enjoy the time together. We celebrated birthday for all family members and Tracy and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. This year we went to Philadelphia for a week of vacation with Rayer parents. We saw all the historical sites we could in a week and enjoyed the time there. We saw the Liberty Bell, The Thinker, and the Art Museum and ran the stairs as in the movie Rocky.

We had a few additions to the family, first was Bandit (McCoy parent’s dog), then Soda our dog, next came Martin Patrick McCoy (Brett and Kate’s boy), finally ended the family by adding Peter another Uncle to the mix (Terri’s husband). Also, this year a very good friend of mine had her first child Abigayle Rose Perdew. Then Cynthia came, a foster child, to my other good friend Katie. Not sure how long Cynthia will be with the Towne family, but glad she is here for Christmas now.

We celebrated another wonderful Thanksgiving hosted by the McCoy parents in Edison, Ohio. We ate well and enjoyed all the company while we gave thanks for another year. It was even a bit more special because we had Grandma DeGroot in from South Dakota. Of course Grandma Flo was there too, but now she is living here, she is just another usual attendee.

Rebecca’s sister and her family came in beginning of December to celebrate Christmas with us family in Ohio. Jacob is 12 now and growing so much. Tracy and Jacob played a lot while they were here. Cassie is 2 and is now not as shy as she was a year ago. What more is there to say then she is 2 and enjoys life.

Tracy and I bought a new home in November and moved in the week after Thanksgiving. Thanks to all that helped with the move. It is a larger home and we are really enjoying the space. Soon we will have the yard fenced in for Soda so she will be able to run free outside.

This is all for this year.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Love,

Rebecca, Tracy, and Soda McCoy
